Kitalid the Deceiver

Kitalid the Deceiver is a Bane that likes to possess children.

Biography

Formed in one of the stinking pits in the realm of Malfeas, Kitalid is a Bane spirit of treachery and deceit. Since time immemorial, it has corrupted the innocent, pure and often overlooked in its effort to serve its unholy masters. Generally, Kitalid first begins possession of the host body when the child's emotions are at the most pained and raw state, like after a spanking or when they are grounded. Kitalid slips into the soul of the child, further entrenching itself with promises of getting more toys, having more friends and staying up later. Kitalid then goes to work, bent on spreading its influence among the friends of the possessed child. Only in the most dire of circumstances will Kitalid Materialize, because it destroys the host body and draws unwanted attention, but those who are unprepared for Kitalid's true form are seldom seen again.

Appearance

In its physical form, Kitalid infallibly possesses a cherubic and innocent little boy or girl. In its spirit form, Kitalid looks like a man-sized insectoid monstrosity with multiple heads. These heads may resemble animals, people, insects, mythic creatures, or any combination of these.
