Laura Pritchard
Laura Pritchard is a kidnapping/murder victim-turned-vengeful ghost currently haunting her killer, David D'Angelo.
Overview
| “ | You’re not wanted here. | ” |
Killed in her early twenties, Pritchard usually retains her appearance at her time of death: an emaciated, injury-ridden woman caked in blood, waste, and the seepage of infected wounds. When filled with hope, she begins to display traits of her living self’s better days: a bright smile, easy grace, casual wear and perfume. At times, the two mix. It is possible that this mixture is not even truly the ghost — that, rather, it is the scene of her terrible durance burned into reality.
In death, she regularly possesses her captor and murderer, to the point that the man is hollowed out, little more than a set of rote behaviors from which he cannot deviate. Pritchard, meanwhile, sees the D’Angelo and herself as two parts of a singular being, rather than two distinct individuals.
