Locust-Eaters

The Locust-Eaters were mages that forsook the pomp and the glory of Atlantis in order to live in the woods of the Dragon Island in what they perceived natural conditions. They perceived that the prestigious projects and excessive spellworks of the city separated mankind further and further from creation, until they relied solely on their magic to do things, forsaking everything that had made them human. They further regarded most Atlantean practices as heretical, twisting the natural world to suit their hubris and desecrating it with their own desires.

Some of the Locust-Eaters became the Timori, mages who were not content with leaving Atlantis, but who actively fought against it. From their mindsets, the later Banishers draw their inspiration.
