Lodge of the Sun

Glyph of the Lodge of the Sun.

Lodge of the Sun is a Silver Fang Lodge that reveres Helios.

Overview

The Sun Lodge teaches order, discipline, harmony, intellect and rationality. The Lodge are the servants of Helios and maintain strong ties with Falcon's Weaver-spirits, the Children of Karnak. The Lodge deals with the human world and maintains an intricate power structure among the Kinfolk. They are masters of politics and commerce, though they primarily control small, rural-based corporations. Most of these are trading companies, cottage software businesses, communications firms and the like. They also influence many museums and privately-owned libraries. Galliards and Ahrouns tend to join the lodge.

The Sun Lodge has courts or methods of leadership known as: The Forthright Court, the Conquering Court, the Steadfast Court, the Righteous Court and the Ideal Court.

The Lodge has three necessary posts: Shaman, Steward and Squire. The Shaman is always a Theurge, the Steward is always a Philodox and the Squire is always a Galliard. A King is of neither Lodge; he sits apart from them and is the balance between them, the Champion of Twilight, when the Sun and Moon mingle. His seneschal is likewise neutral, and is most often an Ahroun, although some kings elect instead a Ragabash, the more ancient tradition.
