Lodowick Society

The Lodowick Society is a group of Christian alchemists.

Overview

Unlike many alchemists, the Lodowick Society has reason for hunting the Created beyond simply the immediate power gained by harvesting their organs: They view Prometheans as an affront to God. As such, removing that stain is the primary motive. The power they gain from Pyros and Vitriol is something they see as part of God’s favor.

The Lodowick Society is antagonistic toward most other alchemist groups, especially the Golden Friends, a pacifistic offshoot that condemns Promethean hunting, even though it also despises the Created.
