Maggie Hyllel is a doctor on the staff of Bishopsgate Mental Asylum.

One of the doctors involved in treating Sadie Brown, Hyllel strongly believes that Brown is delusional, rather than that anything supernatural is occurring. Initially, she recommended strongly against both ECT and an increase in the dosage of the patient's medication, given rising levels of nightmares. At some point, however, changing opinions on the severity of Brown's pathology led to Hyllel, while communicating with Doctor Travis, recommending increased dosage, with ECT as a last resort.
