Many Covenants

The Many Covenants were a religious group on Luna in the Unity Age.

Overview

The Many Covenants were a syncretic faith that combined elements of Christianity, Judaism, Ba'hai, Third-Wave Confucianism and Jamiesonism. They originated in the Federated States of America, but the owners of Xuanzong Omnigenetics arranged for the entire sect to migrate to Luna in 2099. They set up in the Alte Jerusalem complex near Boltzmann Station.

In 2105, terrorists from the Lunar Rational Front flooded Alte Jerusalem with airborne toxins, killing all the inhabitants. The entire complex was sealed after decontamination was initially judged too costly. In early 2119, the Aesculapian Order finally carried out decontamination procedures, and converted Alte Jerusalem into their Covenants Clinic, named in honor of the Many Covenants.
