Markhat
Markhat is a Balam Feline.
Biography
Markhat's world has always been the rich rainforest of the Amazon basin, and it is a world he has never left. Though he has heard many tales of the lands and cities beyond that world, he has never felt even mild curiosity about them, much less any desire to see them. He feels that those who dwell in those other places are no longer in touch with the sacredness of the wilds, as he himself is, and he counts the Garou as pretenders to a natural hegemony they actually lost long ago.
Though he is extremely iconoclastic even for a Bastet, Markhat has always been smart enough to see when cooperation is necessary and this has been counted as an ally to the Uktena and Black Furies of the Amazon for years. for the most part, however, his activity has been that of lone operative, a stealthy killer in the jungle, striking from the shadows and leaving his enemies torn to shreds behind him. Unfortunately, he counts the Get of Fenris, Shadow Lords, and the Silver Fangs as enemies and has secretly slain many warriors of these tribes, thus weakening the anti-Wyrm forces protecting his homelands, even as he himself struggles against the true defilers. Publicly, he is never to be seen when members of these tribes are present.

In his Feline form, Markhat is a preternaturally large, frightening jaguar. In Crinos, he is a towering werecat, all wiry muscle with many battle scars, He usually adorns himself with feathers and skins.
