Mothman
The Mothman is a horror notable for providing information in such a way as to cause chaos.
Overview

Captured by the United States Army in 1959, the Mothman was held captive for nearly a decade when it became clear that it provided information the government could use (for example, revealing the location of Soviet sleeper cells). That ended in 1966, when one of its revelations created an opening for the creature to escape. Since, it has wandered the West Virginia/Kentucky/Tennessee area, providing information to onlookers that is both relevant and highly likely to create discord.
The Horror is generally unaggressive, but has been known to go after people in cars for some reason.
Appearance
Mothman is a humanoid creature covered in grey-white fur or feathers, with a small head and red eyes. Its feathers, though patterned like a moth's, are more birdlike in shape than anything. Its hands are tipped with sharp claws.
