Nadia Wyrmfoe
Nadia Wyrmfoe is a female Shadow Lord Galliard. She appears in both versions of Rage.
Overview
Nadia was born into a noble Romanian house at the nadir of its power, though her indomitable will and grating arrogance would lead one to believe she was the daughter of Louis XIV. In addition, her family's ancient connection to the Shadow Lord line did little to abate her self-importance. Nadia had studied the many faces of the Wyrm even before her First Change, swearing to destroy it and help lead her blood-relations into the power that they should rightfully wield.
Her Rite of Passage entailed stealing a scale from a mighty Russian Zmei dragon, and much to the surprise of her elders, she came back utterly unscathed, scale in hand. Fellow Shadow Lords saw this as an omen of a great power over malignant servants of the Wyrm and asked Nadia to join a sept intent on holding a caern against an influx of Banes. Nadia accepted, never knowing that this responsibility would change her life forever.
During the final clash with the Banes, the spirit Nuag-hyr possessed Nadia's body, using it to destroy his Garou enemies. When Nadia awoke, the bodies of her fallen comrades lay broken around her, and the hollow laugh of Nuag-hyr echoed within her mind. She returned to her elders, claiming that she was the only survivor of the battle, and her lie has haunted her ever since, though no one but she and Nuag-hyr knows the truth. She has, as a result, made a vow to combat the Wyrm in any guise and to destroy Banes wherever she encounters them.
