Nexplorers

The Nexplorers, also known as Cybernauts, Console Cowboys, Runners or Newplorers, are one of the 5 Adept factions. They focus on the exploration of the Virtual Space (Digital Web).

Overview

This tradition's inception comes from Turing's discoveries on the 40's. Since the reveal of the Digital Web, many Adepts devoted their time and energy to the exploration of this whole new reality. The Nexplorers wanted to escape this "dying world" into a better one (Reality 2.0) that would be set up on this Virtual Space. 

The White Out was a hard struck in the Runners, it ended up forcing them to realize that they could not focus only on the Digital Web. The undoing of the Turing Virus (T-Virus) led to a re-ordering of their priorities, making them realize that Meatspace (their name for normal reality) and Virtual Space where codependent on each other and that they needed to work on both. This led to better realition with the Reality Coders, and the two groups began to help each other in their common mission to bring about a new, better reality.
