Night Star

Night Star is an 8th generation Ventrue active in the Canadian territories during the 18th century.

Biography

This vampire is described as a young Indian woman with a long black hair that shone in the moonlight. She wears a white doeskin and is considered exquisitely beautiful by European standards. She sired a French noble called Louis Fortier in a summer evening of 1753, when the young warrior led a small contingent of men into her village.

The Indian village contained only the elderly and some women and children. Fortier's men were received with hospitality, and as the hours passed, they drifted to sleep with the sound of the old shaman beating a drum and chanting a dissonant but nonetheless hypnotic song. It was only then that the beautiful Ventrue woman appeared and lured the leader of that war-party into the woods, where she drank his blood and gave him the Embrace.

When the neonate woke up, he discovered that all his men had been slain. He never saw her or her Indian villagers again.
