The Oath of Challenge is an Oath known by all members of House Varich.
Words
Let no challenge go unanswered, for the courage of our house must be tested. The strength of our house must be measured. The honor of our house must never be in doubt. We shall preveal over any that might challenge us. Our will is strong, our courage mighty, honor unequaled. So shall it be shown in tests against us.
Overview
All house members know this oath, for its swearing is required whenever a house member accepts a formal challenge. The speaking of the oath signifies acceptance and commits the swearer to engage in whatever form of combat or competition proposed to him or her.
Effects
Varich fae who do not make the oath suffer a -1 penalty to their dice pool for deciding the outcome of any challenge.
