Oath of Truth

The Oath of Truth is an Oath of House Eiluned that prevents the swearer from lying.

Words

Although it may bring tears or sorrow, burning rage or silent hatred, let the veil be lifted now. Let all see clearly and know in their hearts that this I do speak without deceit or duplicity, but plainly and honestly as the best I know how. This do I pledge: I shall speak the truth.

Overview

Being a house known for its secrets and Unseelie leanings, this oath allows the Eiluned fae to speak and be trusted.

Effects

Lying about the subject of this oath after swearing it gains the oathtaker a permanent point of Banality as well completely drains them of Glamour until the following sunrise or sunset, whichever comes first.
