Obtenyani
The Obtenyani are a group of fae within House Varich that prefer to follow their hearts instead of reason and pattern.
Overview
From the very beginnings of House Varich there were those fae who preferred to follow a different pattern. These fae usually discover their foolishness in turning away from tradition and come back to the general way of thinking. The Obtenyani, or Changed Ones, however, refuse to give up their deviations. Whatever the situation they will oppose the decisions of the greater House. They choose to follow their hearts instead of rational thinking and the patterns other members of the house have studied. Most of the Obtenyani are, obviously, wilder and childling sidhe, as well as a few commoners aligned with the House, but some have been a part of the faction since the Sundering and the antics of youth can no longer be the go-to explanation. The Changed Ones are tolerated by the rest of the House because they represent the unexpected variations that always pop up in a pattern, helping the leaders take all options into consideration, even the most radical ones.
The founder and leader of the faction is Wila Irynochka, a rytsar who has distinguished herself in battle many times as she searches the Dreaming for lost members of the House. Some say she is actually looking for Varich's heart which he lost in his wanderings.
