Orisha-Nla

Orisha-Nla (o-ree-shah-nLAH) literally means the "Huge Orisha" and it is another name for Obatala, maker of the earth. The term is also used to refer to a number of lesser orishas created from bits of his body and watch over the elements. The Eshu use the name to mean the Inanimae.
