Parma magica
Parma Magica was a spell created by the mage Bonisagus, that acted as a magical “shield” with which magi could protect themselves from each other without resorting to maleficium. This spell was instrumental in the creation of the Order of Hermes, since it allowed the leaders of twelve groups to meet safely at Dürenmar in AD 767 to negotiate.
