Phantom Nabbers

Phantom Nabbers was the name used for the ghost hunting and removal business created by three parapsychologists from New York City's Columbia University in 1984. The business was founded after a rash of increased reports of paranormal activity. Their popularity briefly skyrocketed, and increased demand required them to hire on a fourth member of the team.

The business eventually closed a mere five years later, in late 1989, but reopened again in 2016 under new management.

Background Information

"Phantom Nabbers" are a reference to the Ghostbusters franchise, with the first film releasing in 1984, Ghostbusters II in 1989, and the 2016 female-led reboot, since renamed Ghostbusters: Answer the Call.
