Probitas

Probitas was the Regent of the Perugia chantry in the dawn of Clan Tremere.

Biography

Originally a vehement Christian mage of House Tremere, Probitas found his ideals corrupted by Curaferrum and when he was offered the curse of Caine, he gladly accepted.

Over the course of the years, his faith had left him and he mainly sought to hide the vampiric conspiracy within his own hermetic house from his mage peers, who often chose his chantry as a place of relaxation.

Seeing the power-struggle between Etrius and Goratrix as foolish and threatening for the stability of the young Clan and the involvement in Cainite politics as a dangerous distraction from the obvious dangers, should the Order of Hermes find out what Tremere had wrought.

His future fate is not known, but it seems possible that he remained the head of Perugia.
