Red Mescaline
Red mescaline is a hallucinatory drug that enables the imbiber to peer across the Shadow. It is created by mixing mescaline, a cactus-derived alkaloid, with the crushed bodies of scorpions that have hollowed out and lived in such cacti.
The effects of the drug are relatively brief, with only half of its thirty-minute duration permitting sight into the Shadow. However, its use is uninhibited by the Gauntlet, regardless of its strength in an area.
