Relict Man

A Relict Man (also known as a Wild Man or a Jack of the Wood) is a type of spirit taking the form of man.

Overview

Believed by some to be amalgamations of human desires and nature's forms and by others to be reflections of humanity's ancestors, Relict Men tend to keep to particular stretches of forests, mountain ranges, or swamps, acting as protectors of those places.

Rarely do these spirits speak with humans or those who once were so, such as vampires. When they do speak, it is slowly but passionately.
