Retrospective is the top-rated OpNet news magazine of the Trinity Age. It is produced by OBC and hosted by Belgian historian Warren Shaw. The program's popularity can be attributed to Shaw's warm, conversational demenor, but also to the extensive research done by its staff; reportedly every hour of programming comes with an additional three hours of optional background material available for download.

Since Shaw's death in 2117, Retrospective has been hosted by an AI simulation of him commissioned by OBC. This has not lead to a significant drop in ratings.
