Rite of the Sun King

The Rite of the Sun King was a Rite developed by the Gangrel Anpu used to largely diminish the power of the Setites and Bane Mummies in Egypt by shielding its leaders for about 3500 years (pharaohs to presidents) from manipulations, temptations, etc. and also weakening the powers of Akhu and Serpentis in the area of influence, generating a great sense of discomfort to the children of Set and the children of Apophis.

The spell had to be maintained constantly by someone on the other side, Hatshepsut fulfilled this role until the Week of Nightmares when she awakened and the spell was broken.^[1]
