Robert Thorne

Robert Thorne was a Republican senator running for re-election in 2004.

On radio ads on KTRK, he accused his opponent, Democratic candidate Michael Redmonds, of a variety of crimes, including vehicular homicide, child pornography, and hypocrisy.

Thorne had also rented out billboards where he's surrounded by puppies and set on a background of the American flag, with text proudly proclaiming that he's "not a murderous child pornographer."
