Room 202 Creatures
The Room 202 Creatures are unknown creatures, potentially either spirits or of flesh, that haunt Room 202 of the Bishopsgate Mental Asylum.

As with many facets of World of Darkness: Asylum, Room 202 and its creatures have a number of possible natures. One of these, which will be discussed on the Room 202 page rather than this one, is that they do not exist at all. The others are as follows:
- Option One: The "rats" are Beshilu, also known as the Rat Hosts. These are spirits that burrow into people's corpses, driving the body around until it falls apart. They have been doing as they usually do: chewing at the walls of reality in Room 202, causing the worlds of spirit and flesh to merge somewhat.
- Option Two: Room 202 is a Locus, a place where spirits can enter the physical world, born of the delusions of the first patient in the room. The creatures are spirits of all kind, only some of which look like rats. They are trying to strengthen themselves by driving their victims to madness.
- Option Three: The creatures are not spirits at all, though neither are they rats. Whatever the beasts are, however, they are alive and hungry, feeding on victims' blood like bedbugs. As they have aged, they have begun to require more to sustain themselves; they now feed on flesh as well as blood.
