Sherman Miles
Sherman Miles is a Larval born of an incredibly greedy man.
Overview
A slumlord in life, Sherman Miles lived and died wealthy due to his inheritance. Nonetheless, he was a miser who refused to spend money if it was not necessary — and it never was, in his eyes; in fact, though he was murdered by a mob and dumped into a quarry, Miles was already dying of malnutrition because he refused to spend money on proper meals.
The Larval appears as an emaciated old man with rotting teeth and eyes, and fingerbones lancing through his "flesh". As should be unsurprising of such a money-grubbing individual, Miles is a sly bargainer.
Summoning Miles requires finding and delivering to the quarry one of his former possessions, many of which were stolen by aggrieved tenants following his murder. Alternately, one may lure him with a sufficiently expensive (in the range of ten thousand dollars) new trifle, be it deeds, property, or paper money.
