Simon Peter

Simon Peter was Lasombra and a member of Andrew Emory's pack who studied the Abyss from a technical-thaumaturgical point of view, studying the whole thing with the eyes of a scientist even as he reveled in the practice of reality-breaking magic. He reminded Lucita of the court alchemists of four hundred years ago with their confidence and folly, believing themselves ever so much wiser than priests or mystics and themselves practicing worship and mysticism. He looked like the geek he’d been in life: thin, arms and legs too long for his torso, eyes still weak enough to need thick corrective lenses despite several fleshcrafting treatments.

In 1993, his Sabbat pack of Francisco attacked a boat believed to contain Tremere archives, but It was a trap and only three vampire survived. Roxanna and Peter took the blame.

In 2000, Emory met Simon Peter and Roxanna. The latter they were assigned to the "Lucita" mission as punishment for their failure in 1993.

Later Barry and Andrew offer the rest of the pack to join Lucita but Simon Peter refused in unscrupulous terms whereupon Barry killed him in monomacy.

During a Vaulderie, Lucita had an insight on Simon's persona, describing him as a scalpel of the mind. "Where Andrew abolishes mysteries from a distance, Simon Peter reaches inside them, pulling out their entrails and using them to build prisons for each other".
