Splintered Claw

Splintered Claw is a rank 3 Metis gift. This causes the claws of the Metis to splinter painfully as they pierce flesh. Tiny bits of claw embed themselves in the victim's body. Healing the wound without removing the splinters first is incredibly painful. A Tree-spirit (especially ones with spiky seedpods or thorns) teaches this Gift. Glass Walkers or Bone Gnawers can learn this Gift from spirits living in houses or other wooden constructs.
