Stewards of Cauldronhouse

The Stewards of Cauldronhouse are an order of hospitalers within House Daireann.

Overview

Hospitality is one of the three pillars of Daireann law put forth in the Three Laws of Conchobhair and the Stewards embody it. They put service to others before their own needs. Even dire enemies of the House can rest in peace in their households for at least the requisite three days without fear of betrayal or revenge. Even Daireann laws of vengeance cannot supersede the hospitality of the Stewards. Which doesn't mean your enemies can't wait outside for you on the roads nearby when you leave. These Cauldronhouses are many, or were many, and are scattered across the world, often at crossroads. They are recognized by the flagpole with the standard of House Daireann topped by a miniature cauldron and they are indeed a happy sight.
