Overview

Formed in a pit at an old limestone quarry, the water of the swimming hole is black and cold, too deep to reach the bottom and incapable of freezing over in winter. Nothing lives in it.

Most in the town nearby knows of the well, either via personal experience or rumor. They know wishes can be made on it. They also know that doing so is an awful idea. You might wish for a car… and you’d receive it from your father when he, paralyzed in a freak accident, can no longer drive it.
