Thaddeus Carter

Thaddeus Carter is a member of the Camarilla, Embraced specifically to analyze Sabbat strategies.

Biography

Thaddeus Carter was originally a market researcher before his elders set their eyes upon him. Based in Rochester, Carter tracked all Sabbat attacks over the last five years and spoke with the involved Sheriffs and Princes.

Carter's data provided two important new insights for the Camarilla. The first is that the Sabbat mainly uses local inhabitants during sieges, creating their notorious shovelheads before an attack. Princes are advised to watch out for mass disappearances of mortals as a sign of an incoming Sabbat assault. The second is that the Sabbat's members are mainly ethnic minorities, like latinos and african-americans. Elders of the Camarilla in Maryland have used this information for a new strategy against their enemies, without the knowledge of Carter.

These Kindred actively promote racial hatred and violence, making it harder for the Sabbat to travel and to stay undercover. While most vampires, and Sabbat in particular, give little care to mortals, active harassment and assaults can set off Frenzies and bloody brawls, resulting in the defeat of any hopes to enter a city unseen.
