Thoughtful scorpions

The thoughtful scorpions were a particular brood of bark scorpions attached to the skull rack beside the Great Temple of the Aztec Empire. Capable of consuming the memories and knowledge of humans they kill (though they understand little of what they take, and only rarely engage in a human hunt), these scorpions form their own societies, with their own languages and gods. Much like the humans with whom they cohabitate, the thoughtful scorpions have turned to conquest over their fellows.

Angels and cultists can consume thoughtful scorpions to gain the knowledge they have taken.
