Thrall (VTM)

Thrall is someone under the effects of a Blood Bond, having drunk another Kindred’s Vitae thrice.[1]

Overview

A thrall is usually a mortal, and usually has their service reinforced through the use of Disciplines such as Dominate or Presence. Additionally, Mortal thralls are almost always ghouls, serving as retainers to their vampire domitor.

Vampires with the misfortune to become thrall to another vampire are typically young, though it's not unheard of it happening between elders and other older kindred.

Supernatural beings other than vampires rarely become thralls, although it is theoretically possible for any being that can be subject to the blood bond to be forced into thralldom.
