Vampions

Vampions style of roleplaying, also known as "Superheroes with Fangs", involves using Vampire characters as angsty superheroes whose internal conflicts are generally secondary to 5-dot Celerity and the ability to gut anyone who looks at you funny.

There is not anything inherently wrong about this style of play (especially given that certain supplements like Transylvania by Night tend to wallow in it), but it is not germane to the central personal-horror mechanic that is generally supposed to drive Vampire: The Masquerade or Vampire: The Requiem. It also tends to irritate more character-motivated players when they witness said Vampions eviscerate a carefully crafted plot in a matter of minutes.
