Vola the Red

Vola the Red was a Gangrel methuselah, sire to the overlord of Iceland, Wulfgar the Reaver.

Biography

Vola the Red was described as a wild woman. In 457 CE, she raided the Iceland villages, one of which was that of Wulfgar, a sailor and a warrior. She killed him in battle, but out of spite or recognizing some potential in the man, she Embraced him and left.

Trivia

In real history the settlement of Iceland began in 874 AD when the Norwegian chieftain Ingólfr Arnarson became the first permanent settler on the island.
