Wahya-Ohni

Wahya-Ohni is a Lupus Ahroun Wendigo.

Overview

As a young cub, new to Garou society, Wahya-Ohni was called Dreams-Far. Immediately following his Rite of Passage, he embarked on a long Umbral Quest. He was away from his tribe and pack for nearly eight years. In that time he learned many secrets and gained many spirit allies.

In one of his more prominent adventures he freed a group of Lunes from captivity in Malfeas. While escaping, Dreams-Far fought a deadly battle against two Black Spiral Dancers who sought to block his escape. Although victorious, Dreams-Far was mortally wounded. Grateful for his sacrifice, two Lunes pledged themselves to him. One bound itself to Dreams' very fur, doubling his healing time as long as he remained in the Umbra. The other fashioned itself into richly colored paints, to be used as war dressing.

Tales of Dreams' adventures in Malfeas eventually reached his sept. While Dreams-Far lay in hiding, recovering from his wounds, his sept gave him up for dead. They renamed him Wahya-Ohni of Lost Wolf, in tribute to his actions and passing.

When Dreams-Far/Wahya-Ohni finally returned, there was a Grand Moot called to honor his return. He told many of his tales and spoke with pride and reverence about the sacrifices the Lunes had made. He announced that he would keep his new name and return to the Umbra. He promised to come back and aid his sept in times of dire need, but that his first responsibility was to Luna and her honorable Lunes.
