Them Thar White Wolf Folk Are A Regular Hootenanny!!!

Hillbillies everywhere are rejoicing after White Wolf's crash-bang success in 1994. Uncles, cousins, grand-pappies and just about all our kin are damn proud of us. Despite the slings and arrows of adversity, we pulled together our best year to date. Sales were great, conventions were still fun, our fans continued to surprise us, and best of all we made some new friends (that would be you guys). White Wolf wants to say thanks to all of the retailers who supported us in 1994 and to say that we look forward to doing even more with you in 1995.

Added on to this ponderous tome are three Fact Focus Sheets which spotlight special areas we are headed into. Every month from here on out we will feature one or more Fact Focus Sheets to keep you aware of what we are doing.

We're going to add our own two cents to the card game genre, just to prove that cards can be done right when you think ahead.

The Storyteller series will reach fruition with the release of Changeling this summer, but believe it when we say that the story is far from over.

For the mature gamer, we offer Black Dog Game Studio and its line of mature supplements.

You will also see more Storyteller imprints and series, such as our Year of the Hunter books.

We're producing more high-quality fiction than you can shake a big stick at, and on top of that, we're beginning actual support programs for retail stores.

And as if that isn't enough, then wait until we unleash our big surprise at the end of the year, 'nuf said. We at White Wolf like to set high standards for ourselves and our work and strive to achieve them. Our releases and programs in '95 will bring home this point to you, our most valuable customers. We hope it shows.

The Year Of The Hunter Has Arrived!!

The Most Feared of Mortals Stalk The Earth In Search Of Their Supernatural Foes!!

The theme of the year is the Hunter, the bane to all creatures in the World of Darkness. Despite their best efforts at maintaining the Masquerade, vampires are hunted by the Arcanum and Inquisition alike. Werewolves must contend with modern governments and vast mortal agencies. Even mages and the Restless Dead are not safe.

The Year of the Hunter will be spotlighted by one book from each line, showcasing the hunter(s) closest to the supernatural force in each. This sub-series will feature ads for future Hunter books in the series as Back of Book ads, linking them together. The Year of the Hunter will also be focused upon with trade ads in gaming magazines and our very own Game Studio catalog (WW stock #04599).

White Wolf Fiction in Early 1995

This sheet is to give you the quick and dirty about what White Wolf is doing in the way of fiction for the first half of 1995. Use this information to make a profitable and proven side-line work for your comic and game store. Or if you run a predominately book-oriented store, then please take time to use this quick reference sheet to make a more informed buying decision.

The first half's heavy hitters are definitely: A Vampire's Diary: The Embrace, a lavishly illustrated and handwritten recollection of one man's journey into the Unlife; Midnight Blue: The Sonja Blue Collection includes the third and final book of the Sonja Blue cycle into this omnibus edition along with her first two novels; and Tombs, a collection of some of our biggest writers' best horror including Larry Bone and William F. Buckley (yes, THAT William F. Buckley), which focuses on the many faces of death and dying.

Other solid sellers with guaranteed appeal include our on-going collection of Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion series, which features complete compilations of Moorcock's work to date. Look for Hawkmoon: Eternal Champion vol. III to grace your shelves in May.

Rounding out our first half stable of talent is our very own series of World of Darkness novels and anthologies. The first novel in our Vampire: Masquerade of the Red Death series premieres in April. Our World of Darkness anthology series kicks off with Prince of the City by Keith Herber in March.

We're dedicated providing great fiction to all of our fans, gamer or non-gamer. Our heavy hitters serve to introduce new fans to the fold, our compilations give the hard core sci-fi/fantasy fan something to sink their teeth into, and our novel and anthology series act as staple items for game fans and horror fans alike.

Remember: 56% of all gaming fans read at least two books a month!! Don't miss out on this proven sales niche!!

Please use this information when considering your orders of White Wolf fiction titles.

White Wolf proudly announces the debut of Rage

Coming May 5, 1995

White Wolf, the company that redefined roleplaying, now carries that tradition to the card market. Rage, a collectible trading card game based on the award-winning Werewolf: The Apocalypse, will be produced exclusively by White Wolf, Inc. Since 1991, White Wolf has been producing games of exceptional quality and originality. With its youth, talent, and unorthodox attitude, White Wolf has risen to the challenge of producing yet another unique game.

Rage is a trading card game of savage combat. Players pit their werewolves against each other in brutal wat, using supernatural powers, summoning spirit allies and wielding mystical fetishes. The werewolf pack with the most Renown wins, whether through destroying creatures of the Wyrm of defeating the other players' werewolves!

Rage features over 300 cards lavishly illustrated in full-color by some of the top artists in the game and comic industry. A game for two or more players, Rage offers fast-paced action and easy playability. Flexible rules allow players to determine the length of their game, and no counters or markers are required for play.

"In a market that is quickly filling with imitators, Rage has a savvy and a feel all its own." - Mike Tinney, Rage developer

"Werewolf has always been a game of evocative imagery. Rage brings these images to life with action so real that it will leap out at you and go for your throat!" - Bill Bridges, Werewolf developer

"With the success of games like Magic: The Gathering and Jyhad, we are very excited about joining this new genre. Whereas Jyhad offers subtle politics and intrigue, Rage is a game of in-your-face action and savage combat!" - Stephan Wieck, President
