Wiftet
Biography
Wiftet has little recollection of his mortal days, although he speaks with a Friesian accent. He speaks of his sire as an angel who put his broken soul together and recreated him. He is a good juggler and performer, leaving some to suspect that he was a jongleur in his breathing days, although terrible scars on his body prove that his audience did not always approved.
He appeared one day before the gates and persuaded Jürgen to take him in his services. He seems to have no memory of each previous night, beginning every day anew, telling the same jokes and tripping on exactly the same step. He covers this with self-deprecating wit. But is is not so that he does not remember, it is that it does not interest him, as a means to escape terrible things from his past that are buried within his memory. His low status and shattered memory protected him from the deadly intrigues that were spun within the court.
