Wyrd Sisters
The Wyrd Sisters are an Anarch Tremere coterie that currently reside in Los Angeles.
History
Originally from San Diego, the Wyrd Sisters fled north seeking to escape the chaos unleashed by the defection of the former Baron Tara Kearney to the Camarilla. Los Angeles was chosen as their destination due to the coterie's ties to Eva - a fellow member of House Carna - who in turn called in a boon from one Victor Temple in order to ensure their safe arrival. Unfortunately, that arrival was complicated by the interference of Prince Vannevar Thomas, who sent his Sheriff to intercept and capture the Tremere refugees.
The Wyrd Sisters were cornered at The Grove by LAPD officers under the sway of the Ivory Tower, only barely making it out thanks to the assistance of their fellow Unbound. Baron Temple subsquently granted them a domain of their own within the San Fernando Valley, where they established The Mystic Circle - an occult bookshop that doubles as a communal haven.
Members
- Hester, the eldest member of the coterie and its de-facto leader; appears to be a Bahari.
- Violet Luna, a blood sorceress skilled in dream interpretation - possibly related to the Gift of Morpheus.
- Kyoko, the youngest of the bunch; specializes in the Lure of Flames thaumaturgical path.
Trivia
- The Wyrd Sisters were originally introduced as storyteller characters portrayed by Jason Carl in S2E1: Unnatural Troubles and S2E2: Eye for an Eye of the liveplay chronicle Vampire: The Masquerade: L.A. By Night. Hester, Violet Luna, and Kyoko were respectively portrayed by special guest actresses Juliet Landau, Kendra Vaughnan, and Faye Mata in Season 3's epilogue session Witching Time.
- The coterie's name is likely derived from the "Weird Sisters" of William Shakespeare's Macbeth.
