Ynyra ferch Nissian

Ynyra ferch Nissian is a Troll, presumably Unseelie, aligned with House Daireann.

Overview

House Daireann holds trolls in high esteem and this one in particular has given them cause to honor her. When House Daireann returned to the Autumn World, the Fomorians unleashed a horror to try and stop their departure; a three-headed dragon larger than a flying ship, spitting venom as deadly as cold iron. Many of the House flocked to defend the childlings from the creature and several fell trying to defend them. Then Ynyra came forward and, with a single swipe of her great sword, cleaved off one of the heads. The remaining heads attacked her again and again, giving the chance for the defenseless to escape and for the Daireann warriors to come to her aid. By the time they arrived, she was nearly dead from bites and venom. Still, she sliced off another head before falling to her knees. Ten warriors finished off the beast and those of Belladonna's Chalice at hand saved Ynyra. Such a battle under any circumstances would be cause for honoring her, but given the chaotic situation, she performed above and beyond the call of duty. Ard-Bantiarna Fiadnait is going to ask the House's new Righ or Ban-Righ to honor Ynyra with a title, which is a very rare distinction for a commoner of House Daireann.
