Noun

гѫсли • (gǫslif

  1. gusle, gusli
    • from the Homily against the Bogumils:
ko bo sutĭ xrstiane. ašte so guslĭmi i pleskanijemĭ. i pěsnĭmi běsovskymi vino pijut i sręštamŭ i snomĭ. i vsękomu učeniju sotoninu věrujutĭ.
They are therefore not Christians: if they drink wine while playing the gusli and perform demonic chants and dances, or if they believe in the fates, in dreams and in any of the teachings of Satan.
  2. (plural only) stringed instrument
