- از آنجمله پانصد کس باشند که ایشانرا در ریاضیات شروع است واکنون دوازده سال است که بندگی حضرت سلطنت پناهی کشور گشایی خلد الله ملکه بدین فن مشغول است.
- az ān-jumla pānsad kas bāšand ki ēšān-rā dar riyāziyyāt šurū' ast w-aknūn duwāzdah sāl ast ki bandagī-yi hazrat-i saltanat panāhē kišwar gušāyī xallad allāhu mulkahu badīn fann mašġūl ast.
- Among them there are five hundred persons who have begun [to study] mathematics. His Royal Majesty the World-Conqueror [lit. “the Servitude of the Presence of the Refuge of the Sultanate, Conqueror of Countries”], may God perpetuate his reign, has been engaged in this art [i.e., mathematics] for the last twelve years.
