ܡܵܚܹܐ • (māḥē)

1. to strike, beat, hit

   ܡܚܹܐ ܠܹܗ ܪܹܝܫܹܗ ܡܲܟܝܼܟ݂ܵܐܝܼܬ݂ ܒܓܘܼܕܵܐ.

   mḥē lēh rēšēh makīḵāˀīṯ b-gūdā.

   He hit his head softly against the wall.

   ܠܸܒܝܼ ܒܸܡܚܵܝܵܐ ܝܗ݇ܘܵܐ ܟܠ ܗܵܕܲܟ݂ ܩܸܘܝܵܐ.

   libī bimḥāyā ìwā kul hādaḵ qiwyā.
