Usage notes
- To some speakers of the Urmian dialect this word can mean both tomorrow and yesterday; this is the suggested word for tomorrow in Iraqi Koine, with ܬܸܡܵܠ (timmāl) being for yesterday.
- Such speakers use the phrases ܩܘܼܕܡܹܐ ܕܥܒ݂ܝܼܪܹܗ (qudmē dˁḇīrēh, literally “tomorrow that passed”) and ܩܘܼܕܡܹܐ ܕܐܵܬ݂ܹܐ (qudmē d-āṯē, literally “tomorrow that will come”) to disambiguate.
