     Owing to the recent muggy weather, many locals have echoed folk wisdom in predicting that there will soon be a typhoon, and indeed, a tropical depression in the central South China Sea has approached within 800 kilometers of Hong Kong as of yesterday afternoon, but due to the fact that tropical depressions are the lowest category of tropical cyclone, and owing to the depression's distance from Hong Kong, as of yesterday, there has not yet been any need to announce a tropical cyclone warning.
