Carakan ꦱꦼꦭꦮꦺ
Pegon سٓلاوَي
Roman selawé

Etymology

Inherited from Old Javanese salawé. Equivalent to ꦱꦼ- (se-) +‎ ꦭꦮꦺ (lawé).

  • Erroneously claimed that the word formed (a backronym) from "seneng-senenge lanang lan dok" (when man and woman likes each other). Because this is the age range when Javanese people usually get married.
