Etymology
Literally "money fish." Sino-Korean word from 전(錢) (jeon, “money”) + 어(魚) (eo, “fish”).

- Phonetic hangul: [저(ː)너]
- Though still prescribed in Standard Korean, most speakers in both Koreas no longer distinguish vowel length.
