𐰚𐰇𐰔𐰭𐰇

Old Uyghur

Etymology

Orkhon script variant of 𐽷𐽳𐽶𐽴𐽳𐽺𐽷𐽳 (kwyzwnkw /közüngü/), this attested form in Ïrḳ Bitig perhaps a regional variant or evident of an originally different suffixed form.

*𐰚𐰇𐰔𐰤𐰇 (*küzü /köznü/), with the alveolar nasal, is expected instead of the attested közŋü, with the velar nasal.
