-ܘܿܢܵܐ • (-ōnā) (feminine -ܘܿܢܝܼܬ݂ܵܐ (-ōnīṯā), plural -ܘܿܢܹܐ (-ōnē))

  1. Diminutive suffix attached to nouns.
    ‎ܟܲܠܒܵܐ (kalbā) + ‎-ܘܿܢܵܐ (-ōnā) → ‎ܟܲܠܒܘܿܢܵܐ (kalbōnā, “small dog, puppy”)
    ‎ܐܲܚܵܐ (aḥḥā) + ‎-ܘܿܢܵܐ (-ōnā) → ‎ܐܲܚܘܿܢܵܐ (aḥōnā, “little brother”)
