Suffix
-아- • (-a-)
- (Southern Gyeongsang) Derives certain causative verbs, especially for stems ending in ㅣ (i). No longer productive.
- 널찌다 (neoljjida, “to fall”) + 아 (-a-) → 널짜다 (neoljjada, “to drop; to cause to fall”)
Usage notes
Many Gyeongsang verbs formed by 아 (-a-) correspond to a Seoul form with -우- (-u-).
